WW1 Trench Knife by Aesculap

Beautiful WW1 combat knife in good condition. Wooden grip plates held on by three steel rivets. Black-painted steel cross guard with one hook. Clean steel blade showing cleaning marks. The back of the blade is stamped with the Aesculap makers mark. The original black-painted scabbard has a good-condition stiff leather belt loop with a working “star” snap button.
