Imperial ww1 combat knife by Anton Wingen

This rare fighting knife, made and used in ww1, was the predecessor of the first model HJ knife by AW. We can see that the exact same grips were used on the first model hitler youth knives as on this one. The overall condition of this knife is worn, with the leather on the scabbard missing one rivet, so it sits loose on the scabbard, and the leather ring also missing. The grip rivets must have been replaced at some point in time but the grip plates are still the originals. The blade has the typical textbook Anton Wingen Solingen logo stamped on the back.
