Early SA Dagger with Dedication by Gustav Voss

 3.200,00

An early production nickel silver SA dagger made by Gustav Voss, with matching numbers stamped on the cross guard and scabbard and a dedication etched on the backside of the blade, complete with early nickel silver hanger. A very nice, rare piece. Gustav Voss ranks 9 out of 10 for rarity. Acid-etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and “Gustav Voss Solingen” maker mark on the blade. Some cross grain is still visible. The fit remains nice and tight, and the tip comes to a perfect point. The reverse has blade etching of “1. Nordmark-Treffen 25-26 Mai 1935, Kiel”. This dagger was dedicated as a prize in an SA Marine competition at the Port city of Kiel. A handful of daggers like this are known. Brown anodized scabbard with nickel silver fittings. Bottom fitting has denting and bending on the point. All four scabbard screws are present. The reverse cross guard is also correctly stamped with the “Nm” (Nordmark). The brown hardwood grip looks very good. An excellent rare piece!
