DRP – Deutsche Reichspost bayonet by Paul Weyersberg

 800,00

Rare German WW2 Deutsche Reichspost parade bayonet made by Paul Weyersberg in Solingen. These bayonets are similar to regular German WW2 parade bayonets, with the key difference being that they are stamped “DRP” along with a number on the front side of the blade. This example bears the number “1924” (not a date). The bayonet is in good condition, featuring a nickel-plated blade and intact grip plates. It is the long-style model. The yellow felt insert is still present, and the leather buffer pad is loosely attached. The clean black scabbard retains most of its original paint. The bayonet comes complete with a black leather hanger in good condition. An important note is that the blade has some “wobble” inside the grip, sitting loosely. See the video under the pictures for more details.
