An early Luftwaffe Flak Badge by Assmann & Söhne, constructed in tombac with a very fine patina. The reverse of the decoration includes a raised barrel hinge with vertical pinback and wire catch. In the center of the backside, the badge is marked with the “A” mark for Assmann. This marking can also be seen on the backside of the left wing, though it is so small and light, I can’t get in on camera. This early decoration is rare variant by this maker with no damage or repairs in very good condition. The badge comes with modern printed picture of supposedly the original recepient.
