WW1 Trench Knife with Etched Blade

German WW1 Combat knife with etched blade. Overall worn condition. Wooden grip with steel fittings. Steel blade showing wear by corrosion and a broken tip. The backside of the blade is etched with a textbook WW1 combat etch panel reading “Im Treue Fest, Vereint, 1914-16”. There is still some red color present. Textbook brown leather scabbard with black steel tip. The leather of the grip loop is very soft but still intact. Working snap button.
