WW1 combat knife by Anton Wingen

This rare fighting knife, made and used in WW1, was the predecessor of the first model HJ knife by AW. We can see that the exact same grips were used on the first model Hitler Youth knives as on this one. Steel magnetic hilt with the typical AW bird head design. Black wooden grip plates held on by two steel rivets. Nickel-plated steel blade in very good condition. Unmarked. Original black-painted scabbard with leather belt loop and working grip loop snap button.
