Wood Grip Army Officers Dagger by Plümacher

German WW2 Army officers dagger made by Rich. Plümacher & Sohn featuring a rare wooden grip production. Zinc generic cross guard and pommel screw. Brown wooden grip covered with a fragile white paint. This paint is very fragile and flakes off when touched so this dagger needs to be handled with caution! Steel blade with multiple corrosion marks. The backside of the blade is etched with the Rich. Plümacher & Sohn Solingen maker’s mark. The silver plated steel scabbard has a single scabbard screw in the back. The scabbard is dented near the bottom. The dagger is complete with a long silver Army dagger portepee.
