M33 early production SS dagger made by C. Bertram Reinh. Sohn. Nickel silver cross guards. Bottom one is stamped “I”. Clean black wooden grip with nickel silver grip eagle and SS roundel. Some cracks in the black enamel of the roundel. Clean steel blade showing cross grain. The frontside of the blade is etched with the SS motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue”. The backside of the blade is etched with the Bertram Solingen logo. Some damage to both sides of the cutting edge near the tip as can be seen on the photos. Black anodized steel scabbard with nickel silver scabbard fittings. All four screws are in place. The dagger is complete with a black leather vertical hanger with a steel clip.
