This Spanish youth knife has the red and black grip emblem. The blade is stamped “1940” on the backside and lightly etched with “Arriba España!” on the backside. Only minimal runner marks or contact. Leather washer in place. Worn by members of the youth organization of the Spanish party “Falange” (Falange Española de las JONS). Very similar to the HJ knives made. Steel hilt with black grip plates held on by two steel rivets. The backside grip plate is the rare version with the marking “Juvenil”. The rounded tip on the blade is typical for these blades as they were made for children. The beautiful anodized scabbard has light corrosion marks near the bottom. It has a clean black leather belt loop with a working snap button. These knives are very hard to find in this good condition.
