Spanish Youth Knife 1936/8

This top-condition Spanish youth knife is the rarer model with the all-red enamel grip emblem. The blade is maker-marked SEAM 1936/8 with “Arriba España” on the blade, lightly etched. Only minimal runner marks or contact. Leather washer in place. Worn by members of the youth organization of the Spanish party “Falange” (Falange Española de las JONS). Very similar to the HJ knives made. Steel hilt with black grip plates held on by two steel rivets. The red enamel grip emblem has no cracks and moves when touched. Some worm holes in the front grip plate near the grip emblem. The rounded tip on the blade is typical for these blades as they were made for children. The beautiful anodized scabbard has light corrosion marks near the bottom. It has a clean black leather belt loop with a working snap button. These knives are very hard to find in this good condition.
