Red Cross Social Welfare Officer’s Dagger with Hanger and Portepee

Rare Deutsche Rote Kreuz Social Welfare Officer’s dagger in decent condition, featuring a zinc crossguard and pommel. The top screw is damaged, as is common with DRK daggers. The pommel and grip are slightly loose, allowing them to rotate. The grip is made of orange celluloid. The steel blade is very clean with minor scratch marks and cross-grain on both sides. The leather buffer pad is in place, and the nickel-plated scabbard has both screws intact. There is some corrosion on the side of the scabbard. This is a Social Welfare scabbard, identifiable by its large round hanger hooks. Attached to the dagger is a long silver portepee. The dagger also comes with a nice set of Social Welfare hangers, featuring a beige felt backing with two blue/purple stripes on the front. The hangers have an aluminum top clip and buckles, with zinc bottom clips.
