Red Cross Hewer Dagger with Frog

Red Cross Hewer dagger (DRK), complete with a leather DRK hanger. Features a nickel-plated zinc crossguard and pommel, steel grip screws, and an original black-painted scabbard. The black Bakelite grip plates are slightly loose. Some of the plating has worn off showing the zinc base material true. Steel-forged blade with a sawback and heavy damage to the cutting edge and blade surface. The blade is stamped on the frontside with “Ges. Geschützt.” The leather buffer pad is in place. The steel scabbard is the variant with no screws on the bottom. Both screws are in place on the top. The black leather hanger is marked “H” on the backside.
