Extremely rare Army officer’s dagger made by Ernst Pack with the Type 2 logo. This logo is the pre-runner of the larger Siegfried Pack logo. This dagger has the early Pack cross guard and pommel in aluminum. A dark orange celluloid grip. A clean steel blade with some corrosion spots near the tip. The Type 2 Pack logo is etched on the backside. The silver-plated steel scabbard has both screws in place. A truly rare and desirable piece.
