Rare Steel Cross Guards NSKK Dagger Helbig – M7/73

A rare RZM production M7/73 NSKK dagger with magnetic steel cross guards, made by Helbig F.&A. GAEFLER, Steinbach (M7/73), typically larger than the standard nickel-plated zinc versions, resulting in a thicker grip. The brown wooden grip is beautiful with vertical stripes in the wood. Nickel silver grip and SA roundel. The steel scabbard retains its original black paint with visible “age hairs” and nickel-plated steel scabbard fittings. All four screw in place. The steel blade has a lightly etched motto and RZM mark, characteristic of this maker. Some scratches on the blade under the RZM mark. The blade is in very good condition and retains its factory cross-grain. A true collector’s piece.
