Rare Short Luftwaffe Boot Knife

A rarely seen short model Luftwaffe boot knife with a total length of 22.5 cm. The wooden grip is made from a single piece, with the blade tang running to the top. The blade is riveted to the grip with two steel rivets. A piece of wood near the blade has broken off, a common issue for these knives due to the fragile material. The steel blade shows signs of sharpening and rust but remains in decent condition. The blade length, measured from the wood, is 11.3 cm. The original black-painted small scabbard retains almost all its original paint. It features a long scabbard clip on the backside, sitting flush with the wooden grip.
