RAD Hewer Dagger “Fatman” by Krebs

Rare and discussed RAD “Fatman” hewer dagger made by Krebs. This is a variation of the regular RAD hewer dagger with a thicker grip and a wider blade. High quality production with a nickel plated steel hilt. Thick stag horn grip plates held on by two grip screws. Steel “Fatman” style blade stamped on the frontside with the Krebs Solingen maker’s mark. Note the position of the RAD motto is on the backside. The backside of the blade is etched with the RAD motto “Arbeit adelt” and the RAD triangle together with the “Ges. Gesch.” mark. The blade is in overall good condition. The steel scabbard has most of its original black paint still present. Nickel plated steel scabbard fittings with all four screws in place. A rare RAD variant.
