Mint condition Puma combat knife with red Bakelite grip plates. This early production combat knife has a steel cross guard plate, compared to the later produced thick zinc cross guards. The condition of the entire knife is excellent. The bowie-style blade has light black corrosion spots but still shows the original cross grain everywhere. The backside of the blade is stamped with the Puma Solingen logo. The scabbard retains nearly 100% of its original black paint. These knives are almost never seen in such good condition.
