Privately Purchased Dedicated HJ Style knife by Puma

An early production HJ style knife made by Puma Solingen, a private purchase so not for the HJ as there is no HJ grip emblem. Magnetic steel hilt with black Bakelite grip plates held on by nickel silver rivets. Early style steel blade in near mint condition with factory cross grain, engraved on the frontside with the name “Fritz Klaperoth”. The engraving has also been gold gilded. The backside of the blade is stamped with the Puma Solingen makers mark and the “Ges. Geschützt”. The leather buffer pad is in place. The steel scabbard bears the original black paint with visible age hairs. Stiff black leather belt loop and black anodized snap button. Single scabbard runner on the inside, still covered with white cloth. A one of a kind private piece dating from the 3th Reich period.
