NSFK Dagger by F. & A. Helbig

Aluminum production DLV (German Air Sports Association) dagger for the NSFK, made by F. & A. Helbig. Textbook production by Helbig with the blue painted grip and scabbard. Aluminum cross guard and pommel screw. Steel blade in fantastic mint condition full with cross grain. The backside of the blade is etched with the F. & A. Helbig Solingen maker’s mark. This etching is very poor as we see often with this maker. There are two blue leather buffer pads in place. The blue painted scabbard has aluminum scabbard fittings with light damage. All four screws in place. The lip of the scabbard is stamped with the NSFK symbol. The black leather hanger is still in mint condition with a steel reinforced plate on the inside. At the end of the hanger is an aluminum snap clip in working condition.
