Minty Navy Dagger by Eickhorn with Navy Portepee

Very clean German WW2 Navy dagger made by Carl Eickhorn. Fire-gilt cross guard and pommel, with a perfectly functioning cross guard button. White plastic grip with intact wire wrapping. Clean nickel-plated steel blade etched on both sides with naval motifs, stamped with the Eickhorn logo on the ricasso. The blade tip is perfect. A dark brown felt buffer pad is still in place. The beautiful “lightning” scabbard retains almost all of its original fire gilding, with one dent below the middle area on the front. The dagger has a golden metal navy portepee attached, which is highly sought after.
