M33 SA Dagger by Haenel – Suhl

Early production M33 SA dagger made by C.G.Haenel in Suhl, complete with hanger and belt loop. The dagger features nickel silver cross guards, the bottom one stamped with the Gruppe mark “Sa”. Brown wooden grip with sharp edges, typical for Suhl produced SA daggers. The nickel silver eagle and SA roundel are nicely inlaid. The steel blade is in very good condition showing cross grain on both sides. The front of the blade is etched with the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland”, still showing some of the darkening in the borders of the etch panel. The back is etched with the Haenel “Arrow” makers mark reading “C.G.Haenel Suhl Waffen-u.Fahrrad-Fabrik”. The brown anodized steel scabbard has nickel silver fittings, all four screws in place. A small dent on the side of the scabbard near the bottom. The dagger has an early nickel silver hanger with belt loop attached in great condition.
