Infantry Etched Bayonet by Puma

Etched dress bayonet made by Puma. Medium condition nickel plated zinc hilt with black Bakelite grip plates held on by two nickel rivets. The red felt insert remains in place in the bayonet slot. Clean nickel plated long style steel blade, etched on the backside with the textbook Puma infantry etch panel featuring a Heereagle and a German helmet together with the inscription “Für Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” (“For remembrance of my service time”), and “Beim Infanterie-Regiment No. 1 Köningsberg” (“At Infantry Regiment No. 1 Königsberg”). The backside of the blade is also stamped with the Puma Solingen logo. The leather buffer pad is in place. The original black painted steel scabbard has most of the paint still present. The bottom of the scabbard hook is stamped with the number “6”.
