HJ knife with plastic belt loop by WKC – M7/42

This rare HJ knife was produced in 1942 by WKC. It has a nickel-plated zinc hilt with black Bakelite grip plates held on by two steel rivets. The HJ grip emblem is in good condition and sits loosely in the grip. The blade is scratched on both sides but is still in its full shape and size. The leather buffer pad is still in place. On the backside of the ricasso, the RZM code M7/42 for WKC is stamped together with the date 1942. This corresponds with the plastic belt loop on the scabbard. The steel scabbard has its original black paint. Note the very sharp scabbard tip typical for WKC in this period. The plastic belt loop is in very good condition and has a working snap button with the typical star symbol. The scabbard has two scabbard runners on the inside, still covered by white cloth. A rare and desirable piece.
