Transitional 1938 production HJ knife made by J.A. Henckels. Features a magnetic steel hilt with some corrosion. The HJ grip emblem is unbroken and moves left to right when touched. Full-size blade with ricasso bears the HJ motto “Blut und Ehre!” lightly etched on the front. The backside is stamped with the Henckels maker’s mark and the Henckels RZM code and date, though they are faint. The leather buffer pad is intact. The steel scabbard retains its original black paint. The black leather belt loop is intact and has a working snap button.
