Rare near-mint original German WW2 Flak etched K98 parade dress bayonet made F. W. Höller. The bayonet features a clean nickel-plated zinc hilt with black Bakelite grip plates attached by two steel rivets. The red felt insert remains in place in the bayonet slot. The mint nickel-plated steel blade has the rare textbook Höller flak etch panel on the front, featuring a Heereagle, a flak cannon and the inscription Für Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit (“For remembrance of my service time”). The frontside of the blade is also stamped with the F. W. Höller Solingen logo. The leather buffer pad is intact. The blade sits slightly loose in the hilt, making it wobble. The scabbard retains its original black paint in fantastic condition. Attached to the scabbard is a brown leather frog.
