This Eickhorn pattern 1695 is not part of the field marshal series. It has the cross guard of the Wrangel (right facing eagle) and the lion head of the Scharnhorst. It is an early, high quality heavy brass production with the early 1933-1935 Eickhorn trademark. The cross guard is also stamped with the Ges.Gesch mark. The nickel plated blade is in great condition. The total length with scabbard is +-90cm. The scabbard has it’s original black paint. The sabre is complete with a 3th reich sword portepee in green leather and a brown leather sword hanger. Both also in great condition. A must have for any German sword collection.
