Early Slant Grip Army Dagger by Anton Wingen

Early production slender grip Army officers dagger made by Anton Wingen. High quality nickel silver production with nickel silver cross guard and pommel screw. Dark orange celluloid grip with sharp angled spirals giving it the “Slant grip” name. Steel blade showing corrosion marks on both sides. One nick on the cutting edge. The backside of the blade is etched with the Anton Wingen Solingen makers mark. The leather buffer pad is still in place. Silver plated steel scabbard with I believe to be aluminum scabbard bands. Both scabbard screws in place. No dents.
