Early SA Dagger by J.P. Sauer – Suhl

Early production SA dagger made by J.P. Sauer & Sohn in Suhl. The dagger features nickel silver cross guards, with the bottom stamped with the Gruppe mark “Sa”. Brown wooden grip. The nickel silver eagle and SA roundel are nicely inlaid. The steel blade still shows cross grain on both sides and has light corrosion spots. The front of the blade is etched with the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland”, and the back is etched with the J.P. Sauer & Sohn logo. The brown anodized steel scabbard has nickel silver fittings, all four screws in place. A small dent on the backside.
