Early SA Dagger by F. Herder

Early production SA dagger made by F. Herder in Solingen. The dagger features nickel silver cross guards, with the bottom stamped with the Gruppe mark “Wf”. Dark brown wooden grip with a scratch on the frontside as can be seen on the pictures. The nickel silver eagle and SA roundel are nicely inlaid. The steel blade is very clean with crossgrain on both sides. The front of the blade is etched with the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland,” and the back is etched with the F. Herder crossed keys logo. Some very small nicks on the cutting edge. The brown anodized steel scabbard has nickel silver fittings, all four screws in place.
