Early SA Dagger by F. Herder with Hanger

Early production SA dagger made by F. Herder in Solingen. The dagger features nickel silver cross guards, with the bottom stamped with the Gruppe mark. Very clean, dark brown wooden grip with a good fit to the cross guards. The nickel silver eagle and SA roundel are nicely inlaid. The steel blade is very clean with crossgrain on both sides. The front of the blade is etched with the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland,” and the back is etched with the F. Herder crossed keys logo. The brown anodized steel scabbard has nickel silver fittings, all four screws in place, and includes a brown leather hanger. The leather is stamped with the RZM logo, “L2/338/41,” and the steel clip with the RZM logo, “M5/71,” and the oLc logo. Likely period replaced due to wear or damage of the original hanger.
