Early SA Dagger by Christianswerk

Early production SA dagger made by Christianswerk in Solingen. The dagger features nickel silver cross guards, with the bottom stamped with the Gruppe mark “Nrh”. The top guard and pommel screw have some brown dirtiness. Brown wooden grip. The nickel silver eagle and SA roundel are nicely inlaid. The steel blade still shows cross grain on both sides and has light corrosion spots. The front of the blade is etched with the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland”, and the back is etched with the Christianswerk logo. The cutting edge has some very tiny nicks. The very nice brown anodized steel scabbard has nickel silver fittings, all four screws in place. A small dent on the front and a larger dent on the backside.
