Early NSKK Dagger by Carl Wüsthof

Early production NSKK dagger made by Carl Wüsthof in Solingen. The rarity of this maker ranks 6/10 in the Ralf Siegert SA book. The dagger features nickel silver cross guards, with the bottom stamped with the Gruppe mark “S”. Brown wooden grip. The nickel silver eagle and SA roundel are nicely inlaid. The steel blade still shows cross grain on both sides and has corrosion marks. The front of the blade is etched with the SA/NSKK motto “Alles für Deutschland”, and the back is etched with the Carl Wüsthof logo. The rare black anodized steel scabbard has nickel silver fittings with all four screws in place. There is visible corrosion on both sides and a light dent on the frontside in the middle. These early NSKK daggers with anodized scabbards are hard to find!
