Early Luftwaffe Sword by Paul Weyersberg

Early production German WW2 Luftwaffe sword made by Paul Weyersberg in Solingen. Overall condition is very nice with the original blue leather on the scabbard and grip. The leather hanger is still attached to the scabbard rings. Light wear on the grip leather can be seen in the pictures. Nickel silver cross guard and pommel screw. The blade is nickel-plated steel and very clean. The backside of the blade is etched with the Paul Weyersberg logo together with the Waffenamt stamp of which I cannot read the number. The tip of the blade has some light damage. The blue leather buffer pad is also still attached. The blue leather covered steel scabbard has nickel silver scabbard fittings with all four scabbard screws still present. Total length: 98 cm, Blade length: 77 cm
