Early HJ Knife by Ludwig Groten

Early production HJ knife made by Ludwig Groten. Steel magnetic hilt with light corrosion. Narrow HJ grip emblem in very good condition. The grip emblem does not move and seems to be glued in place. Intact black grip plates. Early blade with no ricasso. The HJ motto “Blut und Ehre!” etched on the front. The “Ludwig Groten Solingen Lanze & Fahne” logo stamped on the backside together with the “Ges. Geschützt” stamp. Original black-painted steel scabbard. Brown leather belt loop with working snap button.
