Early production HJ knife by E. & F. Hörster, featuring a heavy magnetic steel hilt. Black Bakelite grip plates held by two nickel silver rivets, though the HJ grip emblem has had all its enamel removed and does not move when touched. The blade has no ricasso, and the “Blut und Ehre!” motto on the front is faint due to wear. The backside is stamped with the Hörster logo, and the blade has been cleaned. The steel scabbard has been repainted red, and the black leather belt loop was painted in the same color, with a working snap button.
