Early production HJ knife made by Ed. Wüsthof. Magnetic steel hilt in fantastic condition. Black Bakelite grip plates held on by two nickel rivets. Small-size HJ grip emblem that moves when touched, with no cracks in the enamel. A small scratch on the emblem can be seen in the pictures. Early-style blade without ricasso, etched on the front side with the HJ motto “Blut und Ehre!” Light corrosion marks present. The backside of the blade is stamped with the Ed. Wüsthof Solingen logo and “Ges. Gesch.” Signs of sharpening near the tip. Beautiful original black-painted steel scabbard with a black leather belt loop and a working snap button.
