Early HJ Knife by Carl Heidelberg

Early production HJ knife made by Carl Heidelberg Solingen. Magnetic steel hilt. Black Bakelite grip plates held on by two rivets. Small-size HJ grip emblem that moves when touched, with no cracks in the enamel. Early-style blade without ricasso. The frontside of the blade has the HJ motto “Blut und Ehre!” etched. Corrosion and sharpening marks present. The backside of the blade is stamped with the Carl Heidelberg Solingen milk bottles logo and “Ges. Gesch.”. Original Black repainted steel scabbard with a brown leather belt loop and a working snap button. A piece of leather is missing next to the snap button as can be seen in the pictures.
