Early production HJ knife made by Anton Wingen in Solingen. Magnetic steel hilt. Black Bakelite grip plates held on by two nickel rivets. Small-size HJ grip emblem that sits tightly in the grip, with no cracks in the enamel. The black bakelite grip plates are bend upwards, typical for Anton Wingen HJ knives, so you can see the two attachment pins of the grip emblem. Early-style blade without ricasso. The frontside of the blade has the HJ motto “Blut und Ehre!” etched. Some light cleaning and sharpening marks present. The backside of the blade is stamped with the Anton Wingen JB Solingen makers mark and “Ges. Geschützt.”. Original Black repainted steel scabbard with a leather belt loop and a working snap button.
