Early Ex-Röhm SA Dagger by Haenel

Early production M33 SA dagger made by C. G. Haenel in Shul with an erased Röhm inscription. Nickel silver cross guards. The bottom cross guard is Gruppe marked “Sa”. Dark brown wooden grip with nickel silver grip eagle. The fit to the cross guards is very nice. Steel blade showing the original cross grain and in its full size, with light corrosion marks. The front of the blade is etched with the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland.” The backside of the blade is etched with the Haenel logo and was also originally etched with the Röhm inscription. The inscription has been manually erased and some of the inscription is still lightly visible. Good condition steel scabbard with brown anodized finish. Nickel silver scabbard fittings. All four scabbard screws in place and untouched. Overall, a very nice and rare collector’s piece in its original wartime condition.
