Early Ex-Röhm SA Dagger by E. Pack

Early production M33 SA dagger made by Ernst Pack with an erased Röhm inscription, still showing some parts of the inscription. Nickel silver cross guards. The bottom one is Gruppe marked “Wf.” Brown wooden grip with nickel silver grip eagle. The fit to the cross guards is perfect. Small chip in the wood on the bottom backside. Steel blade showing the original cross grain and in its full size. The front of the blade is etched with the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland.” The backside of the blade is etched with the Ernst Pack logo “E. P. & S.” and was also originally etched with the Röhm inscription. Some parts of the inscription, like the top of “Ernst Röhm,” are still visible. Steel scabbard with brown anodized finish and 50% of the factory varnish still present. Nickel silver scabbard fittings. Three of the four scabbard screws are untouched; one bottom screw has some light screwing damage. Overall, a very nice and rare collector’s piece in its original wartime condition.
