Early production DLV, Deutscher Luftsportverband German Air Sports Association) dagger made by SMF. Nickel silver cross guard and pommel screw. The black enamel in the cross guard is intact. One end of the cross guard is stamped with the letter “K”. Blue leather covered wooden grip. Steel blade with light corrosion spots. The backside of the blade is etched with the SMF Solingen logo. The blue leather buffer pad is still in place. Blue leather covered steel scabbard with nickel silver scabbard fittings. All four screws in place. The brown leather hanger is still attached together with the nickel silver hanger clip. The lip of the scabbard is stamped with the DLV symbol.
