Early DLV Dagger by Eickhorn

Early nickel silver/buntmetall production DLV dagger made by Carl Eickhorn. Nickel silver cross guard with intact black enamel swastikas on both sides. One end of the cross guard is stamped with the typical “K.” Nickel silver pommel screw. Blue leather-covered wooden grip, with the leather seam facing downward when worn. Very clean steel blade with crossgrain on both sides, etched with the early 1933-1935 Eickhorn logo on the back. The blue leather buffer pad is still present, perfectly flush against the cross guard. Original blue leather-covered steel scabbard with nickel silver fittings. Some white frosting near the top. All four scabbard screws are present, and the scabbard lip is stamped with the DLV logo. Attached to the scabbard is a brown leather hanger with a nickel silver clip, showing substantial white frosting.
