Deluxe Forestry Dagger by Eickhorn

Near mint and well-gilded German WW2 deluxe forestry dagger made by Carl Eickhorn. Known in the collectors’ community, it bears the Eickhorn logo on the back and is marked “Ges Geschütz” under the green washer. Clean gold gilt hilt and clamshell, with the steel blade etched on three sides with hunting motifs and retaining its full size. Typical Eickhorn deluxe scabbard with highly detailed bottom fitting, which is mounted to the black leather with two staples. The fittings are stamped with the number 59 under the staples and are slightly loose on the scabbard.
