D.R.P. stamped bayonet frog

Rare bayonet frog with DRP-stamped aluminum backplate. Broken leather! Black leather frog, leather above the hook hole is ripped (see photos). This frog has a black-painted aluminum backplate held on by 4 rivets. It is stamped “D.R.P.” for “Deutsche Reichs Patent”.
