Rare Army officers dagger with white painted black grip made by Robert Klaas. Early style production with hand detailed cross guard. Grey wear on the pommel and cross guard. Typical shaped Klaas grip made from black celluloid, covered in white paint. Most of the paint is still attached. The grip has a wide chip on the top on the backside under the pommel screw. The steel blade shows heavy scratch marks on both sides. The backside of the blade is stamped with the Robert Klaas “kissing cranes” makers mark. The leather buffer pad is in place. The steel scabbard has nickel silver scabbard bands with the typical Klaas * symbols on the sides. Both scabbard screws are in place. Note: The dagger is bend near the cross guard.
