Army Officers Dagger by Eickhorn

Great condition Army officer’s dagger made by Carl Eickhorn. A textbook Eickhorn production featuring a silver plated zinc crossguard and pommel. The frosting on this dagger is still very present. The grip is made from orange celluloid. The steel blade displays cross-grain on both sides with some minor corrosion marks. The backside of the blade is stamped with the Carl Eickhorn makers mark. The leather buffer pad is still in place. The steel Eickhorn silver-plated scabbard has a single screw on the backside, untouched. It features typical Eickhorn oak leaves on the scabbard bands. The lead weight inside the scabbard sits loose. The dagger comes with a long silver Army portepee in good condition.
