Army Etched Bayonet by Eickhorn

Very clean original German WW2 etched K98 parade dress bayonet made by Carl Eickhorn. The bayonet features a clean nickel-plated zinc hilt with black Bakelite grip plates attached by two steel rivets. The red felt remains in place in the bayonet attachment. The mint nickel-plated steel blade has the typical Eickhorn Heer etch on the front, featuring two Heer eagles and the “Für Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” motto. The backside of the blade is stamped with the Eickhorn logo. The leather buffer pad is in place. The scabbard retains its original black paint. Attached to the scabbard is a black leather frog and a green and silver bayonet portepee.
