Army Dagger by Eickhorn

Very good condition, late-production Army officer’s dagger made by Carl Eickhorn. A textbook Eickhorn production featuring a zinc crossguard and pommel with a significant amount of original white silver-plated frosting still present. The grip is white plastic with visible press lines on the sides. The clean steel blade displays cross-grain on both sides with light corrosion marks. The backside of the blade is stamped with the late-war Eickhorn logo. The leather buffer pad is still in place. The steel Eickhorn silver-plated scabbard has a single screw on the backside, untouched. It features typical Eickhorn oak leaves on the scabbard bands. The crossguard touches the scabbard lip when opening and closing the dagger, as seen in the last photo.
