Fantastic condition near mint Luftwaffe officer’s sword made by SMF. Aluminum cross guard and pommel screw with nicely gold gilt crosses. Blue leather covered grip with intact grip wiring. Clean nickel-plated steel blade etched on the backside with the SMF logo and stamped with the “6” waffenambt. The blue leather buffer pad is still in place. The blue leather covered scabbard has aluminum scabbard fittings with all four screws in place and untouched. There is a dent in the scabbard on the frontside. The blue leather hanger attachment is still present and in good condition.
